SANTA MONICA, CA – On Tuesday morning, April 16, 2019, at 2:46 a.m., Santa Monica Fire Department resources including
Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 6, 
Truck 1, Rescue 1, RA-2, USAR-2, Battalion 1, responded to a report of a person who fell down
the bluffs in the area of 270 Palisades Beach Rd, and was trapped approximately 100 feet down from the edge. 

Fire Department resources performed a high angle technical rescue involving multiple companies and specialized equipment.
One patient was successfully extricated and transported to a local hospital.
